Warrior Woman
Strong, Bold
Not hiding her bravery
Not apologizing for her articulate Voice,
Anchored solidly to the Earth,
Both feet firmly planted.
Deep roots driving down into the warmth and nourishment of Mother Earth.

Nutrients cursing up through her veins
Blood pulsing
Beating the bold drums of her vibrant Heart.
Courageous enough to burst past herself
Without losing herself.
Holding onto Her own,
With Fierceness in the face of adversity…others’ confusion…assaults.

Warrior Woman filtering through the positive and negative energies
With Her brilliant, wise, intelligent discernment.

Warrior Woman is Kali – Destruction and Rage.
The power called upon when needed to be the Mama Bear for our children,
Or the survival of ourselves.

Since life began, and as it ends, Warrior Woman has been called by many names
and projected in myriads of images.

Integrates and claims ALL these parts…as Her Whole Self.

She does not hide her power
She is thankful for her strength.
Warrior Woman uses herself wisely.
At times she must Defend herself and Protect.
Occasionally she must wage war, on this earth, in this life time.
She cries for Everyone in all directions when this need arises.

But mostly Warrior Woman loves.
She loves and nurtures with her Whole Being.
She has faced down with courage the fears of loss, death, pain, destruction.
She accepts these realities and chooses to risk in order to
Love, Celebrate, and Partner with those around Her.

Warrior Woman owns Her power uninhibited, unthreatened by others offerings,
Graceful, open, allowing others themselves.
She marches on a path of adventure and discovery.
