The Addiction
by Jessica
(Illinois)
Late at night the young girl cries
She must tell everyone lies
The blood drips more and more
Knife covered in blood, wrists tore
She has just struck the core
The pain brings so much pleasure
But it’s not enough to treasure
Fighting the urge, trying to stop the attack
Feeling like the world has stopped in its tracks
She can’t resist, she can’t fight back
The addiction has stuck again
Even in public or even alone
All she can do is attempt not to moan
